This cut glass wine glass, cut in the Berncastel pattern, was manufactured at the Val St. Lambert factory in Belgium prior to WWII.
It was brought to the United States by an immigrant family from Germany in the 1930's. The date of manufacture is not known, but it is prior to their date of immigration, which makes it at least vintage but could be antique. This beautiful piece stands 7" tall and a 3" base.
The glass is flawless except for tiny tiny nicks on the outside edge of the rim. The nicks are in three different places on the rim. They are not noticeable unless you run your finger around the rim of the glass. Provenance is available by the owner if so desired.
