Presenting a Superb Antique English Funnel Bowled Wine Glass which has been Decorated in James Giles Atelier and which Dates to the Georgian Period. Circa 1780 Engraved with the Bucrania (scull of an Ox) and Paterea (Oval Medallion) Design with Swagged Garlands which was a Favorite of James Giles. Ref: There is a Similar Gilded One in the Victoria & Albert Museum : Glass Room 131, Case 28, Shelf 3. Multi- Faceted Stem, which Starts from Base of Cup.

Wide Conical Folded Foot with Snapped Pontil Mark. Measures 11.5 cm High.
