A pair (2) of stunning Angel Champagne Flute glasses signed Lalique France (on the bottom of the foot). Beautiful frosted cherub face and etched wings. These glasses are in pristine mint condition with no defects or damage. They are signed "Lalique France" on the bottom of the foot. The dimensions are 2.75 inches in diameter at the top opening and just a little over 8 inches in height.

Though these are correctly identified as champagne flutes, they're also very nice for serving white wine. This is a now classic design originally created in 1948 by Marc Lalique. You can also find this glass in fine department stores such as Neiman Marcus and Nordstroms at that same price. Glass doesn't deteriorate unless scratched or chipped. You'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between these glasses and new ones.

Le Verre Ange' (The Glass Angel in English) is an interesting French DVD video documentary that describes this glass and walks you through the manufacturing process. The audio is in French but you can a pretty good idea from the pictures. It is worth a look. This listing is for a set of two glasses. These make a perfect gift for a couple celebrating a special occasion such as a wedding or anniversary.
