Pieces: Set of 4 Hawkes American Brilliant Cut Glass Walpole pattern Wine Stems. Pattern : Walpole - #6015 Stem and Square (not Round) bases. Condition: Excellent with one stem having a pinhead flat fleabite on top edge of one base, and another a nearly all flat tiny chip along cut polished base edge. Neither of these very small problems are something you notice unless you are really inspecting the pieces closely. This is early glass, and the thickness and squareness of bases vary slightly.

There is no cloudiness to glass, so probably never used. They are excellent early examples of Hawkes glass.

Maker: Hawkes - From an early estate - Photo of mark is taken from underside of base as it was easier to show that way, but is mirror image in photo. All four stems are acid marked Hawkes.
