GOLD PLATED OR GILDED footed wine glasses in a very GRACEFUL PEAR SHAPE! BEAUTIFUL 3 DIMENSIONAL HAND PAINTED PASTEL FLOWERS, LEAVES, AND RAISED BUBBLES and TONS OF GOLD PLATE with RAISED GOLD PLATE SCROLLS!
You can FEEL the design! The decanter has the largest flowers display and has 7.Flowers with leaves and raised bubbles and in the center is. Around a lattice diamond shaped design where you can see the cranberry glass underneath and there are raised dots over it too! The tall decanter has TONS OF GOLD PLATE with the raised. All around and on the muted background too.
The decanter from 1 1/4" to 1 7/8" where the rim rises for the spout it is BRIGHT gold plate as is the heavy stopper and the handle and there is a 1/4 band of it around the cranberry foot too. Inside right up to the gold plated rim is cranberry glass! The decanter measures 12 3/4" tall, 5 3/8" from handle to widest part of decanter, and 4 1/2 wide. The wine glasses each measure over 4 1/2" tall, 2" diameter at the mouth and 2 3/8 in diameter at the foot.
Each hold 2 1/2 oz. Great condition with no cracks and just one tiny 1/16 spot on the rim of one of the wine glasses where the gold is missing, please see last photo.
One of the wine glasses has a tiny, tiny scrape like defect in the foot which is very small and not noticeable. Very slight discoloration on the very bottom inside, but it doesn't look like it was ever used and is in TERRIFIC condition. Gold plate is in great condition with none missing. The decanter carries the "Egermann" tag and the other tag. The wine glasses with the exception of one all have the original tags.I apologize for the photos as it is very difficult to take photos of gold plate as it reflects back. I also have another cranberry and gold plate set with shot or cordial glasses. These are a much more BEAUTIFUL set in person.
