7 WATERFORD CRYSTAL "CURRAGHMORE" HOCK WINE GOBLETS. The pattern is called "Curraghmore", introduced in 1968 and discontinued in 2017. This design was inspired by the stately manor house Curraghmore, the last of 4 castles built by the de la Poer family after their arrival in Ireland in 1167. The bowl of the goblet features a series of faceted cuts that showcase the beauty of the crystal. The stem is designed with flat cuts and a knob that is expertly shaped to add sparkle.
Each goblet stands about 7 3/8" tall and the top of the bowl is approximately 2 3/4" wide. The underside of the plain base is marked with the older acid-etched Waterford logo in Gothic script (worn off on one goblet).
Please note that this crystal is handmade and the pieces vary slightly in height, weight, and thickness. This set is guaranteed to be genuine Waterford crystal. Condition of these Waterford Curraghmore hock wine goblets is EXCELLENT with no chips, cracks, or fleabites. The underside of the bases have a few light scratches from previous use. The glass is crystal clear with no residue.Overall, this elegant set looks fantastic and displays beautifully. It would make a wonderful addition to any Waterford Curraghmore table service.
