This is for (6) antique cordial small wine glasses. Measures: 4" tall by 2-1/8" wide. The geometric cutting on this is wonderful. Like a checkerboard of crosshatching & crosses with double accent fans. Lovely draping deep miter at the bottom of the design transitions down to the faceted and notched stem. Wafer attached to the base like the american companies were known for followed by the traditional radial star cut base for the total early period look. They have a geometric cutting that would have came of the early companies like New England, Straus, Libbey, Hawkes, Hoare, Clark, etc.

There is one image of a Straus tumbler in the "Malta" pattern that is very similar. And the motif is also used in early Maple City / Clark too. This is from the American Brilliant period (1870 to 1920's).

They fluoresce green for manganese for those who are interested. Condition: These are over 120 years old so its really nice for the age- I see no chips or fleabites around the top rim so it looks great. This is a very nice set. Usually they only come up in singles or pairs when you find them these days. This is for 2 reasons- We sell antiques / vintage goods, therefore they are used, I provide photos of the exact items and not stock pictures so you can always see the exact item you will get.
