6 WATERFORD CRYSTAL "MAEVE" CLARET WINE GOBLETS 6 1/2. The pattern is called "Maeve", introduced in 1976 and discontinued in 2017. This design was inspired by Queen Maeve, a legendary warrior queen from Irish mythology.

The bowl features a series of vertical cuts with a crisscross design below. The tapered stem is designed with flat panels that are expertly shaped to add sparkle. Each goblet stands about 6 1/2" tall and the top of the bowl is approximately 3 1/2" wide.

The underside of the rayed base is marked with the older acid-etched Waterford logo in Gothic script. Please note that this crystal is handmade and the pieces vary slightly in height, weight, and thickness.

This set is guaranteed to be genuine Waterford crystal. Condition of these Waterford Maeve claret wine goblets is EXCELLENT with no chips, cracks, or fleabites.

I don't believe they were ever used as all had sticky residue from the original Waterford label attached to the foot (I cleaned off the residue). I don't see any noticeable wear underneath the bases. The crystal is clear with no cloudy residue.

Overall, these elegant goblets look fantastic and display beautifully. They would make a wonderful addition to any Waterford Maeve table service.
