6 Vintage Stuart Crystal Ellesmere Water Goblets or Large Red Wine Glasses. This beautiful set of 6 cut Stuart Crystal glasses is in very good condition. The crystal design is called Ellesmere and was designed by Artistic Director at Stuart Crystal, Ludvig Kny in 1937. The pattern combined two of Kny's favourite motifs, bright cut leaves and the fern morif, creating a stylish and elegant design produced through to the early 1950's.

The stems have a twist design and the undersides of the feet are cut with leaf motifs. The glasses are all acid etched to the underside with the Stuart Crystal mark used from 1926 and prior to 1950. Some glasses retain their original green stickers. The crystal in these glasses is amazing and the brightness and clarity just stunning. There is no damage and no scale or dishwasher etching.

The glasses stand an impressive 180mm tall and measure 85mm across the rims. Please note this item is original and not a copy or modern day reproduction.
