10 Vintage Lyngby Green Crystal White Wine Glasses Seagull Design. This beautiful set of 10 is in very good condition. Please note the photo shows 8 glasses but this listing is for 10 glasses. The glasses were designed in 1954 and produced by Lyngby Glassworks in Denmark until discontinued in 2000. They were designed for white wine and are made from green glass, traditional in Scandinavian and some European countries. The bowls of the glasses have a beautifully engraved design of flying seagulls. The clear stems have an elegant twisted design and the rim of the bowl and foot are edged with gold. The glasses have no faults and present beautifully. The gold edging is thick and does not show any signs of wear. Some glasses still retain their original sticker.
The glasses are around 125 mm tall and 60mm across the rims. They hold about 130mls when full to capacity. Please note this item is original and not a copy or modern day reproduction.
