Stunning Angel Champagne Flute signed Lalique France on the bottom of the foot. Beautiful frosted cherub face and etched wings.

This glass is in pristine mint condition with no defects or damage. The dimensions are 2.75 inches in diameter at the top opening and just a little over 8 inches in height. Though these are correctly identified as champagne flutes, they're also very nice for serving white wine.

This is a now classic design originally created in 1948 by Marc Lalique. You can also find this glass in fine department stores such as Neiman Marcus and Nordstroms. Glass doesn't deteriorate unless scratched or chipped. You'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between this glass and a new one. Le Verre Ange' (The Glass Angel in English) is an interesting French DVD video documentary that describes this glass and walks you through the manufacturing process.
