8x antique 18th C Empire crystal Wine or Port Glass, ca. 1780, square base

Antique, authentic 18th century, Empire period. Fully hand made: pipe blown, hand cut and polished. Crystal glass, funnel / conical cup, facet cut at the lower part. The facets run through on the stem and base.

Standing on a square foot, with polished out pontil. Heights circa 13,2 cm / circa 5.2 inch. Because they are handmade, they can differ slightly in height, weight, size and cutting. The square feet messure circa 5x5 cm / circa 2 inch.

This size was meant for wine, the cuppa / bowl seems small for modern taste. But is perfectly normal for that time, now it would be great for port or dessert wine. Condition : no restoration, clear glass, all have a or a few small chips to the corners of the foot. The sale price is for the 8 glasses together.
